I Have Nothing!
There are moments when we have so much to share, then there are moments when you simply say, “I Have Nothing!”
Today is definitely one of those days, heck it has been a few of those months if you want to know the truth. Lately I have been attempting to push through a lot of emotions to find strength to post some form of content.
Most days I don’t feel like I have much to share with anyone. Days seem to be running together and who really wants to hear what I have to say. When get all comfy to write I have nothing more than a blank screen staring back at me.
Write a blog they say, Create content they say, Hustle and Grind they say. Well after hearing all of that, doing that, attempting to find a balance, grieve my sweet grandma while live and work through a pandemic. Even when the sun peeks through the windows just right I still feel like I have nothing!
The world, well for some feels like it has come to a screeching halt. Life isn’t what it used to be with no sight of normal coming to the forefront any time soon. Social distancing is real, death is suffocating, prayers are high for those who come in contact with Covid that they will pull through.
I am not oozing with positivity I know. Before you beat me up with your words of encouragement and judgements hear me out.
Many have lost greatly, others are thriving and some if not all are literally praying with every step they take. This virus is nothing to minimize at all yet I do believe it is teaching us something far greater than defeat.
The pandemic has and currently teaching me that I DO HAVE SOMETHING! I hope you too can wipe your eyes physically. mentally and spiritually to see the gift you have in your hand. The opportunity to have moments to REST & THINK. The world will be in a new normal you have the ability to make some changes as we adjust. In these moments find what brings you joy, what makes your heart smile. Find your moments of joy, laughter, gratefulness and being complete. It is possible even during a pandemic to thrive. Three things:
Learn to be okay with the silent moments in your life.
Sitting down to think does not mean you aren’t moving in your life.
Continue to stay a student pick up a book and read!
Hopefully with each day we can each embrace the lessons we are learning. Finding a moment in which we can create and find joy is what is important.
