MAFS Weekly Recap - Episode 9

I wish I could tell you that Married At First Sight, (MAFS) didn’t have me in a chokehold each week but I would be lying. With every new season I am in high anticipation of these couples measuring up to my favorite season, New Orleans, Woody & Amani to be exact. Lifetime we all want yall to get your act together, until you do I guess we will watch the train wreck of these ill fitted couples. I haven’t done MAFS recap since Chris soggy self was buying Paige Harolds and lying to her.

Let’s get into the recap beginning from this week. I will not be going from the beginning my blood pressure is already HIGH! These are MY OPINIONS if you don’t like them who cares no one asked you.

Noodle Noi is one strange cookie. Say what you want Noodle Noi’s attempt to show us she is cool and down to earth, I don’t believe it at all. Crazed woman driven by social media is right around the corner. The girl stormed out after she OVERCOOKED noodles then posted on social media a subliminal message. Then she is about to fall apart because Steve won’t say he loves her after what 2 hours of knowing her? Girl, Bye! Don’t forget that girl told us she flew half way across the world for a man who “said” he loved her. She just gives the vibes of an immature mindset. Now don’t get me wrong I do think Steve needs to get a job or some source of income. I would also like to pause here and say there are a whole lot of folks, myself included who is not interested at all in going back and working a 9 to 5. Also, I have a strange feeling that Steve actually got some coins stacked away for a few rainy days that he isn’t talking about. Or the man could be a dead broke hobo, who knows. He has the most sound advice and thought process of all the men in this group. I feel his whole “I love you” moment was forced. Hope Noodle Noi is happy with him saying I love you. I feel like it won’t be enough.

Listen I am not sure what these experts were thinking when they paired Lindsay and Mark. I want Mark and those eyes to relax, maybe he can’t help it just relax those eyes please. Overall I think Mark really is a great guy. He has a big heart, seems like he has a genuine heart, a man who hates sushi it’s not for everyone. I really feel bad for him having to be married to Lindsay who is a bowl of too much with a side of much. Lindsay gives intense “Karen” vibes. She says the most outlandish and inappropriate things while going 1000 miles a minute. She is exhausting I feel so bad for Mark. Im wondering is Lindsay going to ever apologize for dragging Mark at that bowling alley?  There is NO WAY in the world if I was Mark would have I held her hand, apologize after this woman acted a complete donkey.  Lindsay keeps her foot in her mouth 1000% of the time while wanting Mark to back up her foolishness. One more thing Lindsay, Mark never asked you to rescue him you did that on your own.

I literally can’t stand O who doesn’t deserve Katina at all. He missed me in the beginning running that mouth. It is better to be seen and not heard. It is also better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. I don’t think O has heard of any of these little life nuggets. He has a dissolving hairline, talks way too much and I am sure his breath stinks got to with bumping these gums so much. The mere fact that he feels like Katina is supposed to be some type of servant cooking and cleaning is wild to me. If he wants a home cooked meal so bad why doesn’t he cook it. I am completely lost as to how he is constantly asking and telling Katina about her value as a wife yet the only value he has brought is a durag and a broom. Even after he found out why Katina is really emotionless due to being in an abusive relationship he still found a way to dig in again. I really want Katina to read him for filth. No show is worth a goofy like O to have this much to say. I want O to let all us know what makes him feel he is a a worthy husband of all of his requests? Cause baby I’m lost. Katina better listen to those friends of hers who knew that O was a goofy at that wedding. 

Jasmina , RELAX! She is always on guard and ready for an argument, chill girl! Sure she has her walls up to protect herself she doesn’t know Michael we get it. You aren’t the only one in this relationship Michael don’t know you either,  Of course it is hard for Michael be vulnerable with all his life experience, Jasmina isn’t helping him open up either. Jasmina gives really mean girl vibes, coming off as really cute (which she is I aint gone lie) and sweet but deep down a real mean girl. Thank you to Michael’s sister with the sound advice! Michael tries so hard to understand Jasmina and again she gets all mean girl with him.The whole home gym set up was nice and thoughtful I feel it left us feeling a bit hopeful she even tried to be supportive, keep up the good attempts Jasmina. I am glad Michael was able to open up about his brother, I was waiting on Jasmina to share and that never happened. I think they could make it if they both chill out and just have fun instead of trying to prove a point.

Saved the worse for last, Chris & Raggedy, Sour, Alyssa! Lifetime owns Chris a serious do over, cause Alyssa was TRASH! Alyssa baby girl who told you that you were the prize or even cute. You wore cowboy boots to your wedding, they weren’t even cute. If that isn’t reason enough for us to side eye everything else you did was. Are you aware that you are on MAFS where you get married sight unseen? Those cameras allow the world to see your actions, dummy. The playback aint never ever lied. We see that you really are a TERRIBLE person. Why didn’t your psychic didn’t tell you that Chris was the one at the altar? You want to talk about how bad Chris looks while you out here lookin’ like you were casted for a Bug’s Life. Nah, girl that aint how this works. Chris you did fight the good fight but let me tell you something don’t you ever wait that long to say you want a divorce from a woman who would cry and repeat that she is a good person. That’s a bold face white woman lie! Don’t you ever forget. It is my hope that Miss Ma’am Cowboy Boots gets the dragging she deserve at reunion time and out in the streets!
